Hello, and officially “welcome” to my website! I intend to create this special space to share my memories, journeys, inspirations and just my ordinary days /// Travel for me is not only leisure and enjoying the moment, but it is also a pleasure to learn new things and open a whole new world, see it better and understand more..

ABOUT ME

Hi again, and lets me first introduce myself a bit. I’m Arkin, that is my pen-name which means “the sun” or “shine of my life” and it is also the name of this blog. I was born on 4th August 1989 in Paknampho, Nakhon Sawan Province, in the central part of Thailand. I’m just an ordinary tourist who loves comfort travelling and, to be clear, I don’t work as a tour guide so all the pleasure is mine.

TRAVEL IN THAILAND

Thailand has 77 provinces, each of them with its own points of interest. There are so many Thai people who travel abroad thinking that the other countries have something that we don’t, I don’t want to be one of them, so instead I keep on travelling around my country in order to learn more and to be proud of what we have already got

ABROAD

When I was a kid travelling abroad was just like a dream for me, being a poor boy in the countryside of Thailand. But everyone has the right to dream and I started my journey of travelling outside Thailand in April 2011 with a trip to Malaysia and Singapore. That was just the beginning of my adventure.

Richmond a small but lovely Georgian village near Hobart.

Located in the heart of Coal river region or about 30 kilometers to the north-east of Hobart, Richmond is one of the most famous destinations for tourists visiting Hobart. Its main claim to fame is the oldest bridge in Australia, but also its high street dotted by Georgian buildings. This village with less than 800 […]

From Bangkok to Tasmania

From Bangkok to Tasmania

The trip to Tasmania was part of my 3rd journey to Australia: the 2015-2016 New year trip. I took the flight from Bangkok to Sydney, where I caught a connecting domestic flight to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. My friend and I traveled in Tasmania for one week starting with the state capital city Hobart […]

Landed at Hobart airport and making our way to the city (St. Ives Apartment).

Our flight took around 2 hours from Sydney Kingsford Smith airport to Hobart International airport (an international airport which only seem to accommodate charter flights from New Zealand apart from mainland Australia). It’s a small and convenient airport so the walk from the plane to the baggage carousel is only a few steps.   St. […]
